Important Announcement Regarding VAT Returns (VAT1-VAT2-VAT2B-VAT4-VAT9015)
Within the scope of the “e-Beyan” (e-Declaration) application initiated by our Administration to renew the “Electronic Tax Declaration System” with new, updated, and open-source software, the “Value Added Tax Returns (VAT1, VAT2, VAT2B, VAT4, VAT9015)” are being received through the e-Beyan system for taxpayers liable for the specified tax types in the following provinces and effective dates:
As of September 1, 2025 (starting with the August 2025 period) in the pilot provinces of Eskişehir and Kırşehir,
As of November 1, 2025 (starting with the October 2025 period) in Konya and Muğla,
As of January 1, 2026 (starting with the December 2025 period) in Afyonkarahisar, Bursa, Kırıkkale, and Yalova,
As of April 1, 2026 (starting with the March 2026 period) in Bartın, Bilecik, Karabük, Karaman, Amasya, Burdur, Bolu, Kastamonu, Niğde, and Yozgat,
As of May 1, 2026 (starting with the April 2026 period) in İzmir, Adana, Gaziantep, and Mersin,
As of June 1, 2026 (starting with the May 2026 period) in Antalya, Kayseri, Manisa, and Kütahya.
To expand the scope of the pilot project, Value Added Tax Returns (VAT1, VAT2, VAT2B, VAT4, VAT9015) for taxpayers liable for the specified tax types in the provinces of Şanlıurfa, Diyarbakır, Mardin, Aydın, Denizli, Sinop, Samsun, Ordu, Giresun, Tekirdağ, Çanakkale, Edirne, Kırklareli, Balıkesir, Van, Muş, Artvin, Erzurum, Elazığ, Erzincan, Ağrı, Iğdır, Kars, Ardahan, Çankırı, Sivas, Çorum, Nevşehir, Zonguldak, Sakarya, Düzce, Isparta, Uşak, Aksaray, Tokat, and Gümüşhane will also be received via the e-Beyan application as of July 1, 2026, starting with the June 2026 period.
Our taxpayers who have liabilities for the specified tax types in these newly added provinces must file their returns for the June 2026 period and subsequent periods by accessing the “e-Beyan” application through the Digital Tax Office (Dijital Vergi Dairesi) and using the Value Added Tax Return forms under the “+ New Return” (+ Yeni Beyanname) button, titled “0015-VAT1, 4017-VAT2, 4018-VAT2B, 0016-VAT4, and 9015-VAT9015”.
Furthermore, starting from the June 2026 taxation period, accounting professionals can also file the tax returns of their clients in these pilot provinces via integration (web service) through the “e-Beyan” system, provided that the accounting software they use is integrated with the e-Beyan system (all necessary information and documentation for integration have been shared with the software providers requesting integration).
